I've been unable to produce as much artwork as I'd like this year, having taken on a 3/4 time job as a food pantry director to help make ends meet. (My husband's job was a victim of the recession, so we are scraping by as best we can.) While not as fun as playing with the pretty glass, it is a good gig. Gives one a sense of perspective, and you know you're making a difference with your work.
I still have regular glass projects going, but they are all commission based, and not all necessarily interesting enough to post in my gallery. Not that I'm complaining! I'm happy as hell that there is still a demand for what I do...even if it is somewhat reduced with people not spending as much.
I've been mentally sketching, though, and when time allows, hope to get some work in the kiln and some panels made.
In the meantime, I truly appreciate the kind comments and faves....thank you!
Dawn

And this is why, Mother Earth, I wept inwardly for thee at the moment of the immense parade called Time: the clowns were passing, and everybody knows that inside, somwhere, their hearts are broken.

Comment, because you care.
Share your kindness, not your hate.
Love the art, before yourself.
All of your pieces are gorgeous and your glass painting skills amaze me!
Checked out your glass gallery...nice work, and terrific documentation of how your work has evolved.
